Naruto was walking along through Konoha, not a care in the world. He was happy that he had such good friends. Especially Sakura. He loved Sakura. She has been so nice to him lately. He enjoyed it. As Naruto was walking, he caught a glimse of Sakura. He waved.

“SAKURA-CHAN!”

“Hm, who, oh hey Naruto. What’s up?”

“Sakura-chan, you want to go on a date with me?”

He had closed his eyes, giving her one of his trademark smiles. When he opened them, he was met with a fist in the face. He was sent flying backwards into a wall. Sakura had hit him.

“Naruto, how many times have I told you I don’t want to go out with you?” she yelled at him. Naruto slowly stood up. ‘I should have known. She still loves Sasuke…’ he thought. So when he stood up all the way, he gave her a fake smile, to hide his sadness.

“Sorry, Sakura. I should have known better. I am off to train then. See you later, Sakura,” he said, walking away. Sakura then started to fill up with guilt Not only did he give her a fake smile, with hurt her when he did, she noticed he didn’t add the chan at the end of her name. ‘He must really be hurt…’ she thought. Soon, her body started moving on its own, running towards Naruto.

“Naruto!” she yelled. He turned around, trying to hide the tears he started to shed.

“What is it Sakura?”

No chan again. Damn.

“Uh…well…I, uh…I guess it…wouldn’t hurt to…go out…with you…this one time,” she mustered. Naruto’s tears turned into a smile.

“YEAH! That’d be great. Where should I meet you?”

“I guess at Ichiraku’s, at 7. Don’t you dare be late.”

“I won’t. See you then, Sakura-chan!”

He ran off, hopping in joy now and again. Sakura smiled. ‘Ah, there is the chan,’ she thought.






Sakura was getting ready for her date with Naruto. She was wearing a red strapless dress. She wanted to see the look on Naruto’s face when he saw her. Just then, her door knocked. ‘What? I thought I told him to meet me at Ichiraku’s,’ she thought. As she opened the door, she didn’t see Naruto, but…

“SASUKE!!!” she screamed, clutching onto him. She cried into his chest. “You’re…you’re back!”

“Yeah, and this time for good.”

“Why did,”

“I did it. I killed Itachi, Sakura. I finally got my honor back!”

“That’s great, Sasuke.”

“Sakura?”

“Yes?”

“You want to catch a movie. You know, like a date?”

With Sasuke’s return, she totally forgot about her date with Naruto, so she quickly nodded her head.

“Great! Let’s go!”




4 hours later…

“This was a great night, Sasuke-kun,” Sakura said.

“Yeah, the movies, the dinner, the walk through the park…Man I missed this place!”

“What did you miss most, Sasuke-kun?”

“You, duh.”

Sakura smiled greatly. When they returned to her house, hand-in-hand, of course, Sakura leaded to Sasuke and kissed him quickly on the check. “Thanks for the night, Sasuke-kun.”

“Thanks for the kiss, Sakura.”

With that, she kissed him again and went inside, quickly falling asleep. She couldn’t wait till tomorrow.





Sakura and Sasuke were standing in the training fields, waiting. Kakashi told them to meet at the grounds, for some sort of training. They grew impatient. Suddenly, a cloud of smoke appeared and Kakashi showed up.

“Yo,” he said.

“Kakashi-sensei, where have you been?” Sakura yelled.

“Hehe, sorry I am late. Well, now that we are all here…” he stopped. He looked around, searching for something. Sakura and Sasuke were confused. “Hey, have either of you two seen Naruto?”

They both gasped. Sasuke had forgotten Naruto. He was a little shocked. Usually, he was the first one here. But Sakura’s gasp was louder.

“OH MY GOD! NARUTO!” she screamed.

“What?” Sasuke asked.

“BEFORE YOU SHOWED UP, I WAS SUPPOSED TO GO ON A DATE WITH NARUTO! I STOOD HIM UP!”

Sasuke gasped. Kakashi sighed. “Well, looks like you have to go get him, Sakura,” he said.

“BUT HE WON’T WANT TO SEE ME!”

“Just go.”

“O-okay,” she whispered, running as fast as she could to Naruto’s apartment. Once she got there, she knocked on the door. “Naruto?” No answer. “You home?” No answer. “It is Sakura.” Still no answer. Where was he? Sakura left and searched everywhere. Once she had almost given up, she saw his orange jacket in Ichiraku’s. ‘Of course. I should have known.’ But once she entered, she gasped. Naruto was asleep. He never slept while eating ramen. What was up? Just then, the cook noticed her and glared at her. This didn’t go unnoticed.

“What’s with the look?” she asked.

“This poor boy. How could you do this to him. He has been here since 7 last night, waiting for you. He even refused free bowls, saying he wouldn’t eat until you got here,” the cook said, with hate in his voice. Sakura stood, blank-faced. ‘He waited all night for me!?! Why would he do this? Does he love me? Do I love him!?!’ All these questions were racing through her head until she heard a groan.

“Uh…where…am…Sakura?” Naruto had woken up, noticing her presence. He then turned his head away from her. “Well, look who showed up after all.”

“N-Naruto, I am sorry. I-,”

“YOU THINK I AM STUPID!?!” he yelled at her. She backed out of the restaurant, scared out of her mind. But he followed her, not letting her leave without being told off. “IF YOU DIDN’T WANT TO GO OUT WITH ME, ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS SAY SO! YOU DIDN’T HAVE TO DO THIS! I ALSO KNOW WHY YOU LEFT ME HERE BY MYSELF, STARVING MYSELF!” Sakura knew what was coming. “NEJI AND TENTEN SHOWED UP AND INFORMED ME YOU AND SASUKE WERE GOING OUT! HOW COULD You do this…to……….me?” he started to quiet down. “Well, you don’t have to worry abut me anymore. I am leaving,” he said walking away. Sakura didn’t know what he meant, but when she saw him take his headband off, she understood. She ran towards him and grabbed his arm.

“Naruto! Please don’t leave Konoha!” she pleaded.

“HA! Why not? No one cares. If I left, the whole village would have a fucking party! No one would care if I left. So why shouldn’t I?”

“Because I care, Naruto.”

“YEAH RIGHT! Then why did you stand me up for Sasuke, Sakura?”

“It was an accident, Naruto. I am so *sniff* so *sob* sorryyyyyyyyyy!” she started crying, right there and then. She fell to the ground on her knees, crying her heart out. If Naruto was weak to anything in the world, it was Sakura crying. He put his headband back on and kneeled next to Sakura, holding her and rubbing her back to soothe her.

“Shh. Sakura. Sakura-chan, it is okay. Shh, I won’t go, Sakura-chan. Shh. I am here, I am here,” he soothed her. Slowly, she calmed herself. “There you go. Better?”

“Y-yeah. T-thanks *sniff* Naruto-kun.”

“No problem Sa-Wait a minute. Did you just call me Naruto-KUN!?!”

“Yeah. That is what you call someone you love.”

Now Naruto started tearing up. “Y-you love m-me, Sakura-chan?”

“Yes, Naruto-kun.” Then, Sakura leaned in and kissed him. The passion he felt her radiating from her lips drove him insane. Soon he returned and deepened Sakura’s kiss, radiating just as much passion as her, if not more. Sakura moaned from the pleasure Naruto was giving her. She loved it. After 5 minutes of passion-powered kissing, they released for air. Naruto looked into Sakura’s emerald green eyes, loving her stare. Sakura gazed into Naruto’s ocean blue eyes, feeling the love from his own gaze.

“Sakura-chan?”

“Yes, Naruto-kun?”

“I love you so much!”

“I love you too. Please forgive me for standing you up.”

“Of course. I would never hate you. I will always be here, with you.”

They kissed again. They continued their kisses and love for a long time.
